Thinking of Choosing Brockwell?
Note from the Headteacher
We here at Brockwell Nursery & Infant School aim to provide the best possible education for all our children. To achieve this we create a safe, happy, caring and stimulating environment in which all children feel confident to try their hardest and strive to realise their full potential. We encourage self-confidence and independence in all our children, and enjoy celebrating each individual's success.
We have a wonderful outdoor environment with several areas including: fields and playgrounds with large outdoor climbing equipment, a nature garden and a well-established Forest School - all of which the children access throughout the year. We know that being outside is good for both body and soul!
We believe education is a partnership between home and school and encourage the involvement of parents in all aspects of school life.
School life has changed a little as we have worked to mitigate the risk of the transmission of Covid-19 whilst still providing the warm, nurturing environment in which the children can learn and grow. Please be assured that the children remain at the very heart of what we do.
One of the impacts of Covid-19 is that we are not in a position to offer you a visit to the school. This is a real sadness to us, as we love welcoming visitors and know it provides a great opportunity for you to see if Brockwell Nursery & Infant School is the kind of school into which you wish your child to take their first step into the world of formal education.
In place of a visit please do take time to read our school brochure and look at our website to get a feel of what we are about. Please do not hesitate to phone and we will do our very best to answer any further queries you may have.
