Maths

When teaching Maths in school, we follow a mastery approach, where all year groups are taught to their year group expectations, including challenge for all. There is a strong emphasis on problem solving at all levels, with support and and intervention for those who need it.

We use the White Rose documentation and inline resources to support us in our planning and teaching of Maths. Work in our Early Years is largely practical using a wide range of appealing resources, including Numicon.
