Admission arrangements to our Nursery Classes
We are lucky to have a Nursery class at our school. Children can attend for 15 hours a week from the age of 3. We have 26 places in the morning and 26 places in the afternoon. The learning is planned by our experienced early years teachers and their highly qualified team of teaching assistants.
Admissions to our nursery take place in September where most of our sessions are filled. If we find that we have spaces in the first term, we can allocate places to children in January who will then be at our Nursery for the following year too. We have a waiting list for places, and you can add your child’s name to our admissions book by contacting school on 01246 232 034. Visits to school are warmly welcomed and are by appointment.
Please also look at the Derbyshire webpage for further information for 'readiness for school'.
Admission arrangements to our Infant Classes
Children who would like to join our Infant school have to apply for a place, even if they already attend our nursery.
If you would like to apply for an Infant School place, please contact Derbyshire County Council admissions team on 01629 537479. You can also apply online at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/admissions
Similarly, if you decide that you wish you child to attend Brockwell Junior school then the application process must be applied for when your child is in Year 2.
